+ How to lock the screen orientation (prevent it from rotating)?

Install “rotation control” application from Google Play store. The app can be found here. After the installation, please choose the default orientation which the screen is locked to.

+ Ethernet (RJ-45) port cannot be found

Port is under the outdoor protection cover and can be found by removing the cover entirely or just some screws from it.

+ Sleep timer does not work

This function is disabled in the hardware. As a workaround, the device can be plugged to an electrical outlet equipped with timer, typically an extension cord.

+ Power button is missing

Device is designed to be operated with remote controller.

+ Issues with Youtube application

Remove Youtube updates in Google Play and clear application cache.

+ Applications are missing

Install missing applications from Google Play or contact Kuori support for remote installation (may be billable service, depending on contract).

+ Items on the screen are in wrong places or are unresponsive to touch

Change image density under Settings > Display > Density settings.

+ Teamviewer remote support not working

Check that Yeti is properly connected to internet, for example by trying to open any web page. Make sure both Teamviewer quicksupport and Teamviewer host are installed and Teamviewer host has been lauched at least once so that required add-on installs.

+ Screen brightness adjustment

Brightness can be adjusted with remote controller. Android built-in brightness slider is disabled.

+ System notification when using Yeti virtual keyboard

When using customized Yeti virtual keyboard instead of the default Android one, following notification may pop up on screen: "Note: After a reboot, this app can't start until you unlock your phone". This is expected, and the notification can be ignored

Setting up YetiKeyboard

  1. Go to the Settings -> System -> Language & Input -> Virtual Keyboard
  2. Click "Manage Keyboards"
  3. Enable "YetiKeyboard"
  4. Choose "Ok" in both pop-up windows.
  5. Next time when you open the keyboard, click small keyboard icon at the bottom right corner.
  6. Choose "YetiKeyboard"

If you want to configure YetiKeyboard languages and settings, go to the Settings -> System -> Language & Input -> Virtual Keyboard and click "YetiKeyboard" or just hold comma button in the keyboard.
